The combination of the modifications:

  • A full custom shape
  • Sporty look with profiled sides
  • Race-inspired flat bottom
  • Thickening (inside part of the rim)
  • Your choice of upholstery
  • Optional extras as carbon fibre finish, 12 o’clock strip mark

The shape of the rim is made of the PU foam as in the original factory production. However, at no time is it mechanically changed due to the safety reasons. The steering wheel is given its new shape and size (we only add volume to the inside so that the size of your wheel remains the same), leaving the rim in its original state.

 1. Factory steering wheel: brand-new steering wheel before the modification

2. The rim: the leather and PU foam are removed from the steering wheel leaving just the rim in its original state

3. New mould: using polyurethane injection technology, the shape of the steering wheel is changed. The rim does not get changed at all due to the safety reasons.

Those who really love soft touch of the steering wheel we can make a soft version of mould that will make the steering wheel even more pleasant to hold.

Please note that this technology is not suitable for wooden steering wheels, heated steering wheels, lorry steering wheels and vintage steering wheels.
